1 Rebellion 50-1

I have nothing to say.

2 Icy Atlantic 30-1

Last year's Turf "rabbit" shows up in the mile.  Did notch a G2 and G3 this year at a mile, but both were too slow to compete here.

3 After Market 7-2

His last was his best yet and he could have won with a better journey.  4 of the 5 losses in his PPs come at a mile or on soft turf, both of which he gets in this contest.  Too short for me.

4 Host 30-1

Nice figure in his last, but he just never shows any speed.  That won't serve him very well at a mile on a tight course.

5 Jeremy 5-1

If you can overlook his last, this one has a big shot.  I've done well in this race with Domedriver and Antonius Pius doing just that.  Dettori will keep the price down somewhat.

6 Trippi's Storm 8-1

Finally entered at the right distance and he responded with a win in the G2 Kelso.  Still seems a notch below G1 material.

7 Cosmonaut 15-1

Big race last time though run down late by Purim.  A repeat of that fig makes him interesting.

8 Kip Deville 6-1

G1 winner at the distance.  He always seems to run his race, with the lone exception being when Dutrow wheeled him back on four days rest for some unknown reason.  His ability to lay close will always have him involved late.

9 Nobiz Like Shobiz 8-1

My initial thought after watching his last was that he could win this very race.  I don't believe that any longer.  He could be a monster next year, but I'm not sure he is ready to tackle this tough yet.

Mare is headed in the wrong direction at the wrong time.  This is a shot in the dark by the connections.

11 Silent Name 30-1

I actually bet this horse in last year's mile, and he had me yelling until very late.  He seems to have tailed off big time in his last two.  He does move to the Frankel barn which is somewhat promising, but the post is tough.  Too many holes in this one for me.

12 Purim 20-1

Last looked good, even if out of nowhere.  I'm not too keen on betting horses that suddenly explode at 5 years of age for no real reason, they often regress.  He will have an adventurous journey from this post in any event.

13 Excellent Art 3-1

A very tough shipper from England.  Still, there is no chance I'm playing the favorite in a very competitive race from this far out in a two turn race.  

14 Remarkable News 12-1

Does his best work when on or just off the lead.  He'll have to work hard to get there from the 14 gate.
