Turf (I would say around 112 will win this race)

1.  Shake the Bank : Only entered as the rabbit for Better Talk Now, will set pace, that is it.  Shouldn't they be an entry?

2.  Shirocco : German horse has acquitted himself well since taking his show on the road.  This is no 20-1 shot as the ML suggests, much better than that.

3.  Bago : Will be well bet, but I wasn't particularly impressed on Arc day.  I actually think the pace was pretty quick, judging by visual observation, and think he had the best of it.  He just kind of plodded up for 3rd while clear on the outside.

4.  Better Talk Now : Yet another defending champ, I don't like this one either.  This year's group looks a lot steeper than last year's.  He is consistent, but probably not good enough.

5.  Azamour : Tough on the numbers, BUT, this horse does  not like soft or yielding turf.  With all the rain in New York this week, that is what he will get.  Underlay.

6.  Ace :  If this race were at 1 1/4 miles, he'd be my pick, but, it is not, so he is not.  Good figures at shorter distances, but noticable drop off at 12f.

7.  Shakespeare : Undefeated horse looked sensational until his last, when he had a tough race, but still got the job done.  Contender, but not my top pick.

8.  Silver Foot : Ran huge at odd track Kentucky Downs.  Should enjoy the big sweeping turns of Belmont.  I'll have him on my tickets.

9.  Forty Niner's Son : Just seems too slow here.  I don't trust the AP figures very much as they rarely ever run those distances, and when they do, it is almost always on off turf.  The rest of his races are way too slow.

10.  English Channel : Ran his eyeballs out when battling Shakespeare last time, but still couldn't get it done despite an easier trip.  No real reason to think he can beat that one.

11.  Laura's Lucky Boy : Might not finish ahead of the rabbit, nuff said.

12.  Leprechaun Kid : No chance, even with the luck of the Irish.

13.  Gun Salute : As mentioned earlier, I don't trust the AP 9.5 and 10f figs, and the rest are way, way too slow.  I'll pass.  His last was very bad for a win.

Summary:  I will be playing Shirocco to win here and in some exotics.
