Distaff (I'm guessing around a 105 to win this race)

1.  Society Selection : Horse just never seems to get it done.  She does have a few things going for her though.  First, she is moving in the right direction, and appears headed back to her tops.  Second, her trainer is red hot.  I'll be using her.

2.  Stellar Jayne :  A lot of people like this horse, but I'm not one of them.  She had every chance to win last year given the fast pace, and despite losing ground, she should have finished better.  I don't see how a couple of slow, front running, easy wins this year will have her set for her best, which probably isn't good enough anyway.

3.  Ashado : I loved this defending champion last year, but just a contender this year.  She's been pretty erratic, and hasn't improved at all as a 4yo.

4.  Nothing But Fun :  Tough read, decent figure sprinting, route figure just OK despite winning.  I'll pass on this one.

5.  Yolanda B. Too : Has figures just a cut below the top few here.  Trainer is ice cold at Belmont.

6.  Healthy Addiction : Another with figures just a cut below, even less of a cut.  This one could be the pace setter, but probably won't be around late unless the jocks get lulled to sleep.

7.  Happy Ticket : This is the most likely winner in my opinion.  Horses like this are tough to judge figure wise, they just seem to run enough to be in the mix.  She really impressed me at Saratoga, then ran a very game second to Ashado at Belmont while probably best.

8.  Island Fashion : Horribly mismanaged horse, but she still tries hard every time out when in her element.  Tough to love in this spot, but a placing looks not only possible, but probable.

9.  Hollywood Story : Very steady horse, just steadily too slow.  Her graded stake wins in California were the product of horrible fields.

10.  In The Gold : Ran very nicely in last at 1 1/8 miles.  This horse had virtually no shot in the race two back, and before that earned a huge figure sprinting.  Definite contender.

11.  Pleasant Home : I can't envision any scenario in which I'd be inspired to actually press a few keys and place a bet on this horse.

12.  Sweet Symphony : Looked good at the Spa winning the Alabama, but flopped in first try against older at today's distance.  She didn't run bad, but not well enough to think she can get it done here.

Summary:  Contenders are Society Selection, Ashado, Happy Ticket, and In The Gold for the win.  I think Happy Ticket is the most likely winner, with In The Gold a close second.  I'll be watching the tote.
