Turf

1:  Powerscourt - Looks to be a very good horse, and 1 1/2 miles is not a problem.  Contender, but I don't think he can beat the favorite.

2:  Request For Parole - A US second stringer, and he's not as good as the European second stringer listed above.  No chance.

3:  Strut The Stage - Way over his head, seems to top out at 104, which might get him 5th here.

4:  Kitten's Joy - This is what I call a legitimate favorite.  The best horse in the field with room to spare, is fit, in form, and has the perfect running style.  I'll probably just watch the race and root for this horse without a betting interest.  I generally don't bet on, and certainly not against, this type of horse.

5:  Better Talk Now - A decent, hard trying, horse, but his best isn't in the same league as the 4 horse.

6:  Magistretti - Will probably battle the 1 for runner up money.  Looked good turning for home in last, but was simply outclassed by the favorite.

7:  Star Over Bay - Figures are a little light, particularly at the longer 11 and 12f races.  Probably set the pace, but I don't see him putting up much of a fight turning for home.

8:  Mustanfar - No idea what this 3yo is doing in the field, no chance.

Selections:  I won't bet his race.  I think the favorite will win, and the next two choices look 2nd and 3rd best to me.  No value, no bet.  On to the Classic!
