Mile

Whipper - Euro shipper has some impressive numbers.  Given the poor post draws of many of the contenders, I'll give this one a long look if anywhere near the 8-1 ML.

Silver Tree - Very consistent horse figure wise, but its a notch below what it will take to win here.

Special Ring - Very tough call in this race.  I will probably toss this guy out.  He generally runs his best off of the layoff, and his return wasn't that great, and at a longer distance.  I think he has a chance, but I  also think he'll be an underlay.

Soaring Free - Ditto Silver Tree, consistent, but consistently too slow to win a race of this stature.

  Domestic Dispute - HUH?

Artie Schiller - I don't think this horse will be 12-1 Saturday, probably single digits, around 6-1.  I don't think a mile will prove to be what this horse wants, and will probably come running too late.

Antonio Pius - Why does this horse remind me of Domedriver?  He has the numbers to win, his last race was bad, but the connections are good.  At 30-1 ML, I will have a few Euro riding on this guy's back.

Diamond Green - Ditto the above horse.  Some nice back numbers, bad race last out, but I'll take a shot.

Musical Chimes - Nice win to beat boys last out, but the race was slow, a bit over her head in here.

Singletary - I just don't think this one has quite enough kick, especially from this post.  I want horses that have at least shown a 110, and he hasn't been able to do it yet.

Six Perfections - I initially thought I would lean to this gal for a repeat, but upon further review, I just don't like her.  Three times a beaten favorite this year, she has yet to approach the 113 and 115 she was able to produce the last two years.   That is not a good sign, especially for a filly.

Nothing To Lose - Exploded in last to a career high.  From this post, and with Frankel's prior BC record, I'll take a pass.  He will be a good one to watch early to see how Frankel's day may go.  I hit both Squirtle Squirt and Starine with Bobby, so I'm certainly not dismissing him, but just don't really like the horse anyway.

Blackdoun - A lot of people seem to like this horse, I'm not sure why.  He seems a bit slow to me, and the 13 post won't help a bit.

Mr O'Brien - 5yo ran a career best last out, probably a race too early.  This horse is so far outside he may have to round third at the Ballpark at Arlington to get a good run into the stretch.  He's up against it from here.

Selections:  Antonio Pius AND Diamond Green to win, add Whipper and Nothing To Lose for P3s.
